PARTY ANIMALS: Or How to Get to the White House in 5 Easy Steps

Named “one of the 20 teens who will change the world” by Teen People Magazine, 11 year-old filmmaker Chaille Stovall describes the 2000 Presidential Election as “groundbreaking, confusing, and the most fun a kid could have, provided he has a strong stomach and 15 months to spare.” Of his 100% kid-made film, Party Animals, Chaille says, “I started this film because my parents are really into politics, which is a subject my friends and I, and a lot of adults, find really boring, so I decided to go where the action was and hit the campaign trail.”

Why should kids care about politics? Chaille shows us.

Closely following the campaign trail of both George W. Bush and Al Gore, and anything but boring, this truly unique production is perhaps the best tool to date for exciting the interest of young people in the increasingly contentious field of American Presidential politics.
